This title may sound a bit like an oxymoron but hang it there. I'm gonna make my point!
Do you ever feel so small and insignificant when you think about the size of the world and all the people, the problems, the prayers? God must be way too busy to care about my little life and my little problems.
Not true. Let me show you why!
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Pslams 139:15-16 You saw my bones being formed as I took shape in my mother's body. When I was put together there, you saw my body as it was formed. All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was 1 day old.
Psalms 139: 17-18 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.
I think I've made my case. Scripture is clear that God has thoughts towards each individual and we are of intrinsic value to Him!
So, Nobody is a Nobody to God. Everyone is a Somebody!
You are not just a clump of cells on a spinning rock.
You are not just a descendant of some accident that took place a billion years ago.
You are not just here by random chance.
You are here because He wanted you here! All of your days are written in His book!
He has good plans for you, good thoughts towards you.
God loves to use ordinary people. The Bible is full of accounts of everyday people with messy pasts, big problems, and bad habits who were used by God.
You are not just a...

You are NOT JUST the label you give yourself.
Abraham was just a pagan dude worshipping and sacrificing to false gods who became the Father of the Israelites.
Mary was just a young unmarried woman with a willing heart who became the mother of the Messiah.
Paul was just a Christian killer who became one of the greatest apostles of all time.
Moses was just a fearful man with a speech impediment who led God's people to freedom.
Rahab was just a Gentile prostitute, who was a part of the lineage of the Saviour.
Do you see a pattern here? Ordinary people with messy pasts who gave God their YES!
God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called. God is a God who multiplies and builds upon a humble and willing heart.
Do not stay in your little box because of fear and miss out on all that God wants to do through you.
God doesn't need you to be a part of the story, He wants you to be!
Do not set limits by making excuses on why God shouldn't or can't use you.
You may be someone's last phone call, the first meal they have had in a while, or first glimpse of Jesus, you may be the encouragement that keeps someone going one more day, or you may provide the funds someone needs to keep the lights on one more day or food in their bellies one more night.
Do not ignore the voice that asks you to give sacrificially of your resources or time. The devil will never tempt you to be generous.
People thought Jesus was just a carpenter.
We are NEVER JUST the label we give ourselves.
Nobody is a Nobody to God. Go in confidence and boldness today knowing what God says about you!
Sincerely, Chelsea
